Master GTA 5 Defense with U4GM Armor Tips
A good armour routine matters more than most players think. In a packed GTA Online session, trouble can start halfway through a delivery or right outside a mission marker. Players using GTA 5 Accounts should get familiar with the Interaction Menu early, because reaching armour quickly is often more useful than owning another expensive vehicle. You do not want to be digging through menus while someone is already shooting at you.
Get to the right menu fast
Once you have bought armour, hold the touchpad on PlayStation, hold View on Xbox, or press M on PC. The menu opens at the upper left of the screen. Go straight to Health and Ammo, then choose Body Armor. That is the bit worth practising. It is easy when you are standing still, but it feels different during a job when your screen is shaking and your character is taking hits. A couple of quick menu movements can save a run.
Choose the vest you actually need
The Body Armor page shows every type you are carrying and how many remain. There are five levels, from Super Light through Super Heavy Armor. For smaller jobs, a lighter vest may be enough. When you expect a long firefight, Super Heavy is usually the sensible pick. The page also lets you show or hide the vest on your character. That setting is cosmetic only; it does not change the protection you receive.
Keep a simple restock routine
Visit Ammu-Nation, the Gun Van, or an Agency armory before starting a major job.
Carry several armour types rather than relying on one vest.
Check the blue armour meter above the minimap after each rough encounter.
Turn on Auto Equip Armor if you want a replacement vest applied when one is used up.
You can hold up to ten pieces of each armour tier, so there is no real reason to arrive unprepared. The blue bar is your quick confirmation that the vest is active. If it is empty, you are relying on health alone, which can disappear fast against heavy fire or a determined rival crew.
Pair armour with snacks
Health and Ammo is useful for more than vests. Your stored snacks are there too, and using them alongside armour makes difficult missions far less stressful. Eat when your green health bar drops, replace armour when the blue bar is gone, then get moving again. It becomes a habit after a few sessions. For players looking at cheap GTA 5 Accounts, learning this little routine can make early freemode work, heists, and contact missions feel much more manageable.
