Introduction: The TOTYPackProject Arrives

With the complete Team of The Year squad now available in packs, excitement is at an all-time high for pack openings.

Many players have been stockpiling their packs for this very moment, eager to see if luck is on their side.

Among them is MattFUTTrading from FUTBIN, who has amassed a staggering collection of over 4,000 packs ready to be opened tonight.

As the week goes on, it's anticipated that even more packs will be ripped as the community chases those coveted TOTY items.

Meet the Pack Opener: MattFUTTrading's Ambitious Journey

Before the official launch, we had a conversation with Matt to gain insights into the TOTYPackProject.

Matt believes that Team of the Year stands out as arguably the top promotion event each year.

He shared that his habit of saving packs began in FIFA 19 and has since evolved into an annual ritual for him.

Pack Saving Tradition and Starting Numbers

The initial count stands at 4,300 packs.

However, with continuous recycling into League Upgrades, that number will rise significantly.

By the end of the TOTY event, we anticipate having opened nearly 10,000 packs—or possibly even more.

Legendary Past Pulls and Unforgettable Moments

Looking back at FIFA 22, it stands out as a year like no other. That season, we managed to secure 15 Team of the Year (TOTY) players—a time when only the Men’s XI and the 12th man were featured.

We were fortunate enough to add TOTY versions of Messi and Kante to our squad, along with every member of the defensive lineup. Our luck didn’t stop there; icons such as 94-rated Ronaldo Nazário, 94 Zidane, 91 Ronaldinho, 91 Maradona, and 88 Vieira also joined our collection.

This combination resulted in what was arguably the strongest first-owner team globally, setting a benchmark that remains hard to surpass.

Streaming Marathon: 100 Hours of TOTY Action

Over the upcoming eight days, I've allocated a total of 100 hours for streaming.

We'll find out together whether it's possible to complete every hour as planned.

The challenge lies ahead—let's see how far we can go.

Most Memorable TOTY Packs

The TOTYPackProject brings the excitement of Team of the Year cards back for fans.

Currently, you can find TOTY Messi available in FIFA 22 packs, reigniting memories for players.

However, when looking back at the most iconic TOTY cards ever released, many still consider FIFA 13’s TOTY Cristiano Ronaldo as the standout.

That card, launched years ago, remains legendary among the community.

Goals for This Year's TOTYPackProject

Predicting outcomes is always tricky, but securing seven different blue cards alongside three TOTY Icons would be a solid result—provided we don't end up with only defenders and goalkeepers.

If our haul includes a good mix of positions, that would make the pack opening even more successful.

Ultimately, variety in both player types and positions will determine how pleased we are with the final selection.

Dream TOTY Picks for FC 26

If you could choose any TOTY player to pack in FC 26, who would be your top pick?

For me, Alessia Russo stands out—not just for her current achievements but also because of her history with Charlton. She was part of our youth setup, so she definitely counts!

How to Watch and Support the Project

Get ready for an exciting kickoff tonight on Twitch at 5:30pm UK time!

The stream will continue live every Friday to Sunday starting at 10am, and on weekdays from 1:30pm UK time until the end of TOTY.

This event, known as the TOTY Pack Project, is dedicated to supporting Cancer Research UK.

If you’d like to contribute, donations can be made through their JustGiving page.
